Name: Foxstar
Age: 34 moons
Desired Clan: DuskClan
Desired Position: Leader
Gender: She-cat
Pelt: Short hair ginger tabby
Eye's: Bright Golden color
Personality: Foxstar it a very flexible, understanding cat. She gets along amicably with even the most estranged felines, and there are very few who even remotely dislike her. She goes out of her way to care for, protect, comfort, and befriend the members of her Clan. She tries her hardest to be there for every cat when they need it most, and is fiercely protective of each and every one of her Clanmates, from the tiniest, scrawniest kit, to the most ancient, withered elder. She has an intelligent, impartial way of viewing things, and never dives into a situation without consideration of its possible effects on herself, as well as any other cat. She strongly believes in the warrior code, for it is the backbone and basis of all that she lives for. However, she has enough insight and morality to know when to push its limits for the greater good of all the Clans, DuskClan, and every single cat therein. History: The only kit of one queen, Foxleaf's mother was outcasted shortly after she was born. Her mother, blinded by hate against a cat that she had been set at odds with since apprenticeship, tried to kill, or at least mortally wound this cat. The leader of The clan found this act intolerable, and banished Foxstar's mother from Clan territory. At this time, Foxstar was still a kit, and although she did not truly understand what had happened to her mother, she was deeply affected by this event. Her father is unknown; as her mother left before revealing who she had conceived her kit with. No warrior came forward to claim Foxkit as their offspring; perhaps they were afraid that wrath would be turned upon them for associating with Foxstar's hateful mother. Or, perhaps, the father was a loner or rogue whom Foxtar's mother was acquainted with. In all likelihood no cat will ever know, but it is of little or no regard to Foxstar who her father was. This is most likely because she fears that he might be like her mother, of whom she has created an image in her mind as a force against all in which she believes.
Foxstar was raised with another queen's kit, who was born blind. Even as a kit, Foxstar felt deep compassion for her more helpless nurserymate, and encouraged and guided the kit into apprenticeship. Unfortunately, the blind cat whom she had befriended died soon after they began their apprentice training. Foxstar briefly plunged into depression about this, but was able to overcome this loss, and resumed her warrior training with even more determination. Her apprenticeship took a long time because her first mentor was killed in a battle before she was old enough to be made a warrior. This also set her back slightly, but again she resurfaced and put all of her will and strength into becoming the best warrior that she possibly could be. She was mentored by the warrior Scraggleclaw, whom she deeply admired and became fast friends with. Tragically, he died shortly after she was made a warrior.
Although her apprenticeship was longer than most cats experience, she became deputy at the relatively young age of twenty-eight moons, quickly setting her standards and goals above those of most ordinary warriors. She is well-liked among all the clan cats, and was a popular choice for deputy. And soon enough became Leader.
Role Play Example: (From another site) A tawny, jade-eyed she-cat flitted through the tall, branching oaks of ForestClan territory. Her tail was held high, and she confidently swept along her patrol route. Her fluid, supple movements and wily, searching eyes were the quintessence of felinity. All of her finely tuned senses were alert, subconsciously processing every sight, scent, and sound within her radius. This was Echofur, the fiercely loyal, but kindly deputy of ForestClan. She sprang over a large, gnarled tree root, her sentences instantly detecting something out of the norm. A fresh, pungent whiff of RainClan had drifted by the she-cat's sensitive nose, putting her brain on the alarm. Echofur could hear a slight scrabbling on the ForestClan side of the border with RainClan; this small source of sound was a RainClan cat, trespassing on ForestClan territory! The red-and-brown furred deputy pricked her tufty ears, the sensitive hairs lining them perceiving every little vibration emanating from the intruder. Obviously, the enemy cat was unaware of the ForestClan deputy's presence; else it already would have fled. Creeping slowly over the leaf-strewn ground, Echofur narrowed the distance between her and her quarry. As she spotted a set of black paws beneath a thick bush, her warrior blood surged, and her deep instinct to protect her territory shot through her. With the adrenaline rush, the fierce she-cat un-bunched her taut muscles, and hurtled over the barrier of vegetation. Her well-aimed pounce brought her down upon a scrawny, black-and-white tom, who flinched as he saw his attacker out of the corner of his eye. He tried to turn and flee, but the ForestClan deputy was already upon him. Echofur swiftly pinned the RainClan cat down by the neck, and she could feel his blood pounding furiously in his jugular vein. She noted that this was a very young cat, an apprentice, probably just out of the nursery. He had no distinguishing scars, so he probably had never patrolled, or even had training in the area of battle techniques. The youthful tom's muscles were sturdy, if not prominent, and he was putting up a good fight, wriggling frantically and twisting like a worm. "What are you doing in our territory?" Echofur hissed, her ivory fangs bared in a threatening snarl. The black-and-white tom struggled under her firm paw, his slight muscles flexing with desperation. "I-I- I forgot where the boundary was! This is only my second time out of camp! I was only made an apprentice a few days ago! " he babbled, his amber eyes rolling in terror. "I don't know where my mentor is! She just went to catch a vole, and I saw a mouse eating some grass shoots over by that bush... and..." he trailed of, his wide, panicked eyes flicking up at the ForestClan deputy and back over to the RiverClan side of the border. "Oh," Echofur meowed, her emerald eyes softening slightly. Her surge of adrenaline died down as she realized that this little cat posed no threat to her Clan. "I nearly made that mistake when I was first apprenticed!" Relief swept through the eyes of the RainClan apprentice, like a bird swooping down to the earth from stormy skies. "You may go now," Echofur meowed, her warm voice taking on a slightly motherly tone, "But only if I never so much as see a whisker over this boundary. I will not be so forgiving in the future, and neither will any of ForestClan's warriors. You’ll be extra careful to stay in your own boundaries from now on, right?" "Yes!" meowed the apprentice hastily, his tail twitching and muscles tensing to adjourn. "Go now," mewed Echofur, and she released the cat, who scurried back over the boundary and disappeared from view, kicking up some pollen and cat-tails. "Apprentices," Echofur chuckled, her whiskers twitching slightly in amusement, and continued on her hunt.
